William Lindsey "Bill" Erwin (December 2, 1914 – December 29, 2010) was an American film, television and stage actor with over 250 television and film credits. He played as Irene's husband Ed in Home Alone.

He previously appeared in John Hughes' film Planes, Trains and Automobiles, sharing a scene with John Candy.

Bill Erwin died from natural causes at his home in Studio City, California on December 29, 2010. He was 96 years old.
