Kevin McCallister encountered a cab driver in New York City.

Biography

While Kevin walked away from two prostitutes, he spotted a taxi cab and called out "Taxi" before heading over to it. The taxi stopped, and as soon as Kevin ran over to it, he got in.

As soon as he shut the cab door, Kevin turned to the driver and remarked, "Boy, it's scary out there." The cab driver slowly turned around to face Kevin and told him "Ain't much better in here, kid."

Kevin took one look at him and was terrified by how scary he looked before leaving the taxi and took off for Central Park.

Kevin gets in his taxi car, and told him "boy! it's scary out there!" he slowly turned around to face kevin on the back seat and  told him him "Ain't Much Better in here, kid" possibly meaning he was aware that he was a scary looking man and kevin would spend the ride terrified from his appearance, or because since it was night time they would be driving throught the dark and they would continue to see more scary stuff out of the car windows. Kevin took one look at him and was terrified by how scary he looked and ran away as fast as he could and ran away to Central Park.
