Mr. Hector is the personal concierge at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.
Biography
Hector was a very pompous and sly individual and a bit of a bully when he becomes suspicious of Kevin. He presumed that Kevin McCallister had stolen his father's credit card, and as such, treated Kevin like a criminal.
On one night, he invades room 411 under the guise of housekeeping, to which Kevin scares him away by using an inflatable clown to impersonate his father while playing a recording of Frank McCallister singing "Cool Jerk" in the shower.
After Hector confirmed the card as being "stolen" and decided to bring Kevin to the police, Kevin escaped by using the film Angels with Even Filthier Souls scare him and the rest of the staff away.
