Home Alone is a 2006 video game for the PlayStation 2, which is based on first four films of the Home Alone franchise.

The game was released in Europe only.

The aim of the game is to go through five areas and dispose of the burglars while locking all the doors and windows to stop more getting in. The player is able to collect and use tools to close the entrances, and traps to catch the burglars. Unless the player locks all the entrances on the level, however, defeating a burglar simply means another takes his place. The game only saves the high scores and does not save game data.

In popular culture

This game – as well as this very article – were briefly featured in the Angry Video Game Nerd episode "Home Alone Games with Macaulay Culkin," with the Nerd and Macaulay Culkin ultimately deciding to pretend the game did not exist.[1]
