  • Harry has a dream where he and Marv escape police custody, but it quickly turns into a nightmare where they fall victim to Kevin's traps again. Marv also has a bad dream, waking and asking if he can crawl into bed with his cellmate, who throws him across the cell in response.
  • Some dialogue is different throughout.
  • Buzz wears a retainer.
  • Before Kevin realizes he is in New York City, he checks the airport bathroom in an effort to find his father or uncle.
  • Donald Trump does not appear.
  • Hector, Hester Stone, and Cedric are not mentioned by name.
  • Kate does not search around the city for Kevin, instead she sees the "world's largest Christmas tree" in a magazine and feels Kevin would be there.
  • How much Kevin spent on room service is never brought up, instead the story ends with Kevin and the Pigeon Lady watching a flock of pigeons in the sky.
