 Home Alone is a movie franchise that started in 1990. The franchise sees children who are left at home alone by their families having to deal with burglaries by low-level jewel thieves, straight up to international crime syndicates! The kids have to use their cunning and ingenuity to set booby traps for the intruders to protect themselves and their home. The franchise started with the now classic movie, Home Alone, starring Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister as he tried to defend himself against Harry and Marv, known as the "Wet Bandits". He would face the same foes now dubbed the "Sticky Bandits" in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York in New York City having boarded the wrong flight, becoming separated from his family. Four sequels would follow titled Home Alone 3, Home Alone 4, Home Alone: The Holiday Heist, and the newly released Home Sweet Home Alone on Disney+! Kevin McCallister's story would also take a darkly comedic path in Jack Dishel's web-series, :DRYVRS. This series is intended for older viewers however... |
