He appeared in the first movie (Home Alone) as a Police Officer who receives a transferred phone call from another office on 'line 2'.

He spoke to Kate McCallister and asked her numerous irrelevant questions. He later put her back on line with Rose.

Trivia

  • He ate a chocolate donut.
  • He asks Kate McCallister: "Has the child been involved in violence with a drunk family member?", "Has he been involved in a household accident? and "Has the child ingested any poison or is an object lodged in his throat?". All these questions were irrelevant, however it is likely that Officer Balzak was just doing the standard procedures.
