McCallister Home Security was a business that specialized in home security. In the Mercer house, the family used security products from McCallister Security.[1]

It is ambiguous to which member of the McCallister family owns/founded McCallister Security, with it only being known information being that it isn't Buzz McCallister by virtue of him being a police officer.
While Kevin McCallister may have been inspired by his past experiences with thwarting the Wet Bandits to create the company, Home Sweet Home Alone also reveals that he has taken to irresponsibly prank call his older brother Buzz McCallister during his patrols during Christmas, suggesting a level of immaturity that would be at odds with most successful business owners.
