Villa de Dolphiné hotel in Miami, Florida
Miami is a major city in southern Florida in the United States. This city was the destination for a McCallister family Christmas vacation. However, the trip was immediately soured by the discovery that Kevin hadn't boarded their flight and the fact that it was raining the entire time the McCallisters were there.
The family stayed at the Villa de Dolphiné, of which Uncle Frank remarked, "It didn't look this bad on our honeymoon!"[1]
Eventually, the family got a call from the police saying that Kevin was located in New York City, New York by tracking Peter's credit card, which prompted the family to leave Miami and get to New York City immediately.[1]
