Penelope McCallister is the mother of Peter, Frank, and Rob McCallister, the mother-in-law of Kate, Leslie, and Georgette McCallister, and the grandmother of Buzz, Megan, Jeff, Linnie, Kevin, Sondra, Tracy, Brooke, Rod, Fuller, Heather, and many other children. She is married but it is unknown what her husband's name is. Although she never appears in any of the movies she's mentioned in the first 2 movies. In the first Home Alone Kevin tells Old Man Marley that he wishes his Grandma Penelope and Grandpa name unknown would send him money for Christmas but they always send him clothes and last year gave him a sweater with a bird knitted on it which isn't something Kevin wanted because kids in the 2nd grade got beat up for wearing stuff like that. In Home Alone 2: Lost in New York Kate asks Kevin if he saw what Grandma Penelope sent him for the trip to Miami FL to which Kevin guesses Donald Duck Slippers to which Kate tells him Close, a playable clown to play with in the pool. To which Kevin says sarcasticly How exciting. Kevin later uses the toy clown that Grandma Penelope sent him to scare Mr. Hector away out of his hotel room after Mr. Hector came in to check to see if the room was okay.
