Uncle Rob's Brownstone House, identified as 51 West 95th Street, is the huge three-story townhouse of Rob and Georgette McCallister in New York City. It was seen only in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, in which it is the main setting where Kevin set up booby traps for Harry and Marv.
Before the events of the first film, Rob and his family relocated from this house to their penthouse apartment in Paris, France because of his job transfer; however his daughter Heather and son Rod remained in the United States to attend college and finish high school, respectively. In the second film, it is revealed to be still under the ownership of Rob and Georgette, but is undergoing renovations.
Trivia
- The address given in the movie is 51 West 95th Street. While such address does exist in real-life and is an actual brownstone, the actual filming location for the setting was Brownstone Street on the Universal Studios backlot in Los Angeles.
