Winnetka is a suburb of Chicago, Illinois.
Peter and Kate McCallister lived with their five children, Buzz, Megan, Linnie, Jeff and Kevin in Winnetka, at 671 Lincoln Boulevard,[1] next door to Marley across the street from Jack Murphy and his family, particularly his son Mitch.[2]

The McCallisters' address is given in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York on a tag on Peter's bag; the address is nearly identical to the real-life house, which is located on Lincoln Avenue, not Boulevard. In Todd Strasser's Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York novelizations, they instead live in Oak Park.
